Red―Red purse carp, a unique fresh fish, is a rare treasure used at the state banquet. The belly of genuine red purse carp is as big as a purse. That is how it got its name. Green ― Green tea. Early in the Tang Dynasty, Wuyuan became a famous tea-producing region. Wuyuan green tea was reputed as one of six rare treasures in the Song Dynasty and used as a tribute. Wuyuan enjoys the reputation of being a “tea land”. Black ―Longwei inkstone, also called Shezhou inkstone, is one of four famous inkstones in China. The inkstone is native to Longwei, Wuyuan. In the Tang and Song Dynasties, Wuyuan belonged to Shezhou. Thus the inkstone was named Shezhou inkstone. White ― Jiangwan pear is reputed as “king of pears south of the Yangtze River” and tribute.
